Gregory R. Malin Chief Executive Officer

Gregory R. Malin, is the Chief Executive Officer of Troon Pacific, Inc., a real estate development and investment management company based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Mr. Malin is responsible for its acquisitions, oversight and development planning, and brings over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, creativity and vision with regard to real estate finance, asset management and planning. Mr. Malin envisions a future that we can live in a better built environment, one that enhances our wellbeing, is sustainable for the environment, healthier to live in, and of superior quality. Mr. Malin invests in both residential and commercial real estate, where he has the opportunity to deliver this type of high performance, healthier and sustainable properties, and brings with him a significant background with complex mixed use and master plan developments, as well as intricate commercial projects. Mr. Malin’s background includes founding, directing and supervising worldwide operations for a full service international real estate services organization, which was involved with the asset management of a broad range of asset types including office, retail, multi-family and industrial.

Mr. Malin has been a passionate supporter of the performing and fine arts in San Francisco, such as SFMOMA, SF Opera Guild, and ODC. He is a Board Member of the San Francisco Zoological Society, serves on the Leadership Council of the San Francisco Education Fund and Residence Hall Committee for San Francisco Music Conservatory. He is also actively engaged with international organizations that focus on environmental research and women’s health, most notably through the Kew and Voss Foundations.

Charlot D. Malin Co-founder, COO, Director of Design(b.1968 – d.2017)

An accomplished Interior Designer and Design Director, Charlot D. Malin founded Troon Pacific with her husband, Greg Malin, and served as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of the firm’s overall design team for over 16 years. Renowned for her European sensibility, her originality, and her creativity with design, her roster of notable interior design projects include LEED Platinum luxury residences, numerous residences and wineries in the Napa/Sonoma area, the 464 Prospect luxury development in La Jolla, California, George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch Sound Studios, Robert Redford’s Sundance Resort in Provo, Utah, and the Hassayampa Golf and Country Club in Prescott, Arizona. Charlot was active in the San Francisco Community as the President of the San Francisco Opera Guild, Chairman of SFMOMA’s Artist Circle, and served on the Board of SFMOMA, The Voss Foundation, The American Norwegian Cultural Foundation, and the Norway House Foundation. Charlot’s design direction and generous community spirit live on through Troon Pacific’s projects and commitment to volunteer service and ongoing support of arts, cultural, educational, and environmental organizations.

Allison N. Janes Senior Design and Sustainability Manager

Allison Janes is the Senior Design and Sustainability Manager for Troon Pacific, Inc. Prior to joining the team at the beginning of 2017, Allison managed construction of ultra-premium residential projects exploring the cutting edge of environmental sustainability, healthy material initiatives, and distinctive design for one of the top general contractors in the Bay Area. She has a passion for art and innovation, and a drive to engage, explore, and create. Her unique and multifaceted background in the architecture and construction industries incorporates perspective gained from the architect’s seat, the client’s seat, and the builder’s seat, and has shaped her “boots-on-the-ground” approach to bring repeated success to conceptual goals and aspirations. Allison holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Minor in Sustainable Environments from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.

Eleanor Van Natta Executive Assistant / Office Manager

Eleanor Van Natta is the Executive Assistant to Gregory Malin at Troon Pacific, Inc, and supports the daily operations of the team through Office Management. She brings over 17 years of combined experience in the legal and healthcare fields. Eleanor has an extensive background in high-level administration management. Eleanor has a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from U.C. Berkeley. Her interests include music, film, theatre and creative writing.

Kelley A. Faulkner Director of Communications and Human Resources

Kelley transitioned from the non-profit sector to the world of high performance real estate in 2016. In the communications realm, she oversees marketing and public relations initiatives, serves as the neighbor liaison for residential projects, manages communications and events, and oversees Troon Pacific’s B-Corps status and engagement. In the Human Resources realm, she works with the team to build on the foundation laid by Greg and Charlot, developing a positive company culture focused on learning, excelling and giving back to the community. Kelley brings over fifteen years of experience in a wide range of leadership positions with state and county government and non-profit organizations focused on supporting people with disabilities and the performing arts. She has worked in Seattle, New York City, and the San Francisco Bay Area, and has developed and managed teams to create innovative programs, making lasting contributions to the various communities of which she has been a part. Kelley has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Olaf College, studied theatre and acting at the University of Washington and the Atlantic Acting School.

Ella K. Gibbons Controller

Ella Gibbons joined Troon Pacific in 2018, bringing extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate, fund, corporate and property accounting. Prior to joining Troon Pacific, Ella worked for an esteemed investment firm and a developer and property manager based in San Francisco. Ella was instrumental in successfully running day-to-day operations and supporting the team in prior roles as she will be at Troon Pacific. Ella holds a bachelor’s degree and completed master’s level coursework in Economics from the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland, and has completed the required accounting coursework to practice in the United States. With a passion for travel and volunteering, Ella has visited 41 countries and serves as an active volunteer with an organization supporting social services in San Francisco.

Chan W. Hoo Accountant

Chan brings with him a considerable background in property management accounting.  Prior to working for Troon Pacific, Inc., he worked for several prominent property development, management and investment firms throughout San Francisco.  He has experience in both residential and commercial property accounting and has been recognized by former employers for his dedication and strong work ethic. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Francisco State University. He is a Bay Area native, born and raised in the Sunset District of San Francisco, and currently lives in the East Bay with his wife, son and their beloved dog, Toby.  He enjoys going to the gym and is a motorcycle enthusiast.

Whitney Robinson Creutz Senior Manager of Investor Relations

Whitney is the Senior Manager of Investor Relations for Troon Pacific, Inc. and Performance Realty, Inc. and is responsible for investor relations, capital formation, and marketing across both business lines. Prior to joining Troon Pacific, Whitney worked at Harvest Properties, an owner and operator of Bay Area commercial real estate. As a member of Harvest’s Investor Relations team, her primary responsibilities included supporting and expanding the firm’s relationships with its limited and general partners, marketing and public relations.

Previously, Whitney focused on strategic marketing and business development at two global real estate firms. At Cushman & Wakefield, she designed and implemented marketing strategies to enhance business acquisition and retention within the national Investor Services platform. Whitney also worked at CBRE on account management and data analytics on behalf of the global portfolios of Visa Inc. and McKesson Corporation.

Whitney received two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with concentrations in Organizational Psychology and History. Go Blue!

Lisa K. Gunther Construction Manager

Lisa Gunther is the Construction Manager for Troon Pacific, Inc. and Impact Builders, LLC. She brings over 25 years of managerial experience in the technical fields and expertise in the design and installation of complex electrical systems for high end custom homes. Lisa works with Troon Pacific’s General Contractor team, Impact Builders, to ensure projects are built to Troon Standards, on time, and on budget. Strong and direct communication, ability to multi-task and think on her feet and her ability to problem solve quick and efficient solutions have contributed to her projects success. Her tenacity ensures that even that last 5% gets completed.

In addition to managing high end custom home projects, Lisa was a senior project manager in commercial electrical construction working for Union shops such as ACE & Rosendin Electric. She also managed a team of engineers and production staff to set up a global digital satellite network and was in charge of the video transmissions. She toured around the world managing a team of multimedia engineers and production staff to conduct global events that included audio, video, satellite, translation, and lighting.

A native New Yorker, Lisa has lived in the Bay Area for 20 years. A long time student / practitioner of mindfulness and meditation, Lisa resonates with Troon Pacific’s mission around wellness.

Sarah A. Sabatano Property Manager

Sarah graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY with a degree in Pastry Arts and a Bachelors in Business Management. Starting in Washington, D.C., Sarah was on the opening team for a number of restaurants before she traded the east coast for the west and managed the CIA’s Illy Cafe. Since then, Sarah has expanded her skill set in the events world both as a Chef and Manager—from planning to executing events, Sarah’s expertise has allowed her to stay calm under pressure and deliver flawless results. Her focused, highly organized, and detail-oriented personality has led to her wearing many hats at Troon Pacific as a Property Manager who handles maintenance contracts, marketing efforts, and floral design as well as coordinating and overseeing all events for Troon Pacific.
